I’m an absolute Newbie to laser engraving and have a little issue i need to ask about. i’m running lightburn and the issue i have is even though i have Start from checked to bottom left it will only frame if position laser to top right and it frames 90 degrees out so if my text is horizontal it frames Vertical. Can you please tell me what i need to change ? Many Thanks
I think you need to go through this material to understand the coordinate system of your laser and lightburn. It is easy and understandably described.
This doesn’t change where your machine thinks is the 0, 0 location. Only changes what the software thinks the machine is located. Most of the time you can’t change where it homes, although there maybe a work around for grbl machines.
Where a machine homes, determines the quadrant of operation.
This is also the problem with moving… the Device settings need to correspond to the machines actual home location.
Ok so i’m not concerned with Location my issue is my X & Y movement is reversed and 90 degrees Clockwise how do i reverse axis directions ?
