I have this sign made up and I’m trying to change the lead in cuts to move to the inside of the waste material. I’ve seen a couple subjects on this, maybe changing the start point from a corner to a line? But I’m not sure how to do that. The “set start point” button doesn’t be seeming to work like I want it ex; like a triangle shape. If the image uploaded correctly, you would see, the smaller letters and each start stop point it would have to make. Am I expecting to much from the software to figure out which part of the cut material I want to keep? And how can I change it to let me alter each point it begins a lead in cut, to be from a different angle/ come from a different direction?
It did not. Please try to upload the image again. The file is here, but the image is not.
This is worth review, if you haven’t already, Redirecting...

ops think it did it agian.
You can
- drag and drop, in-line with your text
- use your OS Copy and Paste (Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V), in-line with your text
- Hit this to open an Upload dialog to point to the image file.
Edit: I opened your LightBurn file and do not see any lead-in set in any layer. I also notice you have these paths grouped and not closed. These shapes can be optimized differently, which may help, but you may have specific reasons for this structure I am not understanding.
OK, I Ungrouped, then selected and Auto-Join(ed) (Alt+J) the inside shapes to join and close them, then re-grouped the internal. I closed the outside shape as well. Here I show that you now need to Ungroup shapes to gain access to edit the Start Point.
Quick Tip: You can also Add a node (while in Node Edit mode) along a given path to better place the Start Point for that shapes Lead-in.
