That’s what I was looking for, thanks! In that case I will invest in a heater for my shed…
Be careful with those torpedo heaters. They burn kerosene and emit CO (carbon monoxide). I had one for my garage and had to leave a window open quite a bit. But they do work putting out heat. Maybe make a heat exchanger similar to a wood burning stove so it is vented outdoors.
Or buy a propane heater that does not need venting… It burns LPG and water is the combustion byproduct. Than is why indoor forklifts are powered by it.

Sorry about the crappy URL. I do not know how to create the condensed ones.
My double car garage has a “dutch” door, cut in half hinged separately. I open the garage door about 3 inches to allow fresh air in. If I need to keep the back door closed tightly (due to wind, snow) , I would open the garage door about 8 inches. The heater pumps out enough heat to dramatically warm the garage in minutes. It has a thermostat that you can set, once it is to temperature the heater shuts off. It burns about 1/2 gallon per hour and I rarely run it for more than 10 minutes at a time once the chill has been chased out of the cement floor. The output is hot enough that I could run the garage door completely open, albeit the accumulated heat would be dramatically lower. AIr quaility is not a worry for me and there is just barely a whiff of diesel smell (not objectionable to me) when the heater shuts off.
No, I would not run the heater in the house, nor in a sealed shop. Airflow is important
I transitioned from using portable heaters in the shop, which were both a hassle to refill and costly, to a more efficient system.
Living in the country, I use propane to heat my house and water. So, I ran a line from the tank to the shop and installed a wall heater. Now, when the tank drops to 30%, a truck comes to refill it.
This setup has been much more convenient and cost-effective for me.
After having it for a couple of years, I wouldn’t want to go back to the old way.
These heaters are also available at big box stores.
