When I choose a camera to use (LB camera or my iphone camera), it will work initially. When I go to switch the camera or close the window out, then reopen with a different camera choice, the LB app crashes. Any fixes to this? Not sure if it’s Mac OS specific. Others on FB pages have suggested to revert to previous LB versions. Thanks!
It might also be the cable? We had similar issues and the cable was routing around near the laser tube which meant the power interfered with the camera as soon as it started firing. Basically everytime a job started it crashed until the job finished.
Interesting, I don’t believe we’ve ever supported an iphone camera. Is it still in the phone? If so, how is LightBurn communicating with your phone?
A thunderbolt USB hub allowed me to connect the USBc at the Mac to the USBa at the camera.
Please tell me more about all the connections in excruciating detail.
I’d like to know all about the cables in play and which ends they have on them.
Thanks.

So sorry!! I never logged back in after submitting that inquiry. To answer your question, I use a Macbook Air and an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I didn’t add the camera, technically speaking. When I choose from the pulldown list in LB for camera, it gives me three choices: LB camera, iphone, and facetime camera. Perhaps LB just imports my camera options? There are no “wires” or hard connections to speak of. When I choose iphone, my computer communicates with my iphone (as it would in native Apple apps) and uses my iphone camera to show me my workspace within LB camera window. I hope that answers your question. Thank you!
