Choosing frame & modules

Hi
Im thinking of purchasing a K1(600x800mm) - 4040 alu frame for stabilisation, and a LT-K30 for cutting(10mm+/-) and larger area engraving & LT10w optical. I had thought about the 5w for detail but the 80/10w dot size looks more uniform at 0.06x0.06(0.08x0.08).
Any opinions on that selection?

Hi Pete

These questions are hard to answer without a bit of context of your Needs.

What you primary goal with this laser - assuming it cant do ALL things well, what are the top 3 materials/Type of jobs you want to do with it

NEED to have, Good to haves would help a lot advise correctly as well.

Also, all opinions will of course be personal opinions so your research will have to be the final step

Hi Gil
Understood! all comm’s are opinion only.

Firstly, Im looking for hardware that is strong and low vibration.
good hardwearing components.
minimal exposure of electronics & cables to smoke/residue.
all easy to clean in place.
I would like to keep the materials & making aspect as the bigger part of the learning curve…rather than troubleshooting compatability issues.
Would like to make to sell:-
high grade photo engraving on suitable surfaces aprox 4"x4".
art on canvas with paint.
larger 12"x12" up to max size portrait eg landscape, property, family.
designes for attaching to doors, walls.
clip together models and forms.
clock faces.
perhaps some fabric/leather engraving.
Materials:- tile, ply, hardwood, treated sheet metal.

Just to update the module info:-
For finer engraving LT agreed to using 'LT-23 5w 80w-AA10w as power source is compatible, cutting 3-5mm.
K30 for cutting 10mm…of most suitable.
