Hello. Problem with cutting circles, they not connect start and end points . Also testing square 100x100mm y axis showing 99.5mm . Use 500x700 china laser with ruida conttroler. This happens on LB software on rd works circles joined but looks little bit oval. All mirrors checked and alignment belts tension ok, i do calibration on rd works, but is after some cutting lost it. Where else can check for this problem ? Thanks
That’s most likely mechanical backlash. Check to make sure the pinions on the stepper motors are tight, and any set screws holding them as well. If you have a coupler connecting the two sides of the Y axis, check to make sure that is not slipping too.
