Is there any chance of having a close button that only closes the job not Lightburn, each time I want to start a new job I have close down LightBurn after exit and restart, not wanting to have more than one Lightburn open at a time.
Nearly all other software has a Close tab in File besides Exit
Just click on “New Job”. If your job has not been saved it will prompt you to save it. Then it will close the job and not shut down lightburn.
Only problem is that when opening new it opens with default settings in cut but I want to stay with the cut settings I have at the time
Then Just Save Your Job.
Then delete your whole design.
That will keep your cut settings
Do your new design.
IMPORTANT** Then use “Save As” and select a new name for your new job

Check if by any chance this option is not selected to do exactly that.
I don’t know what version you are using. The image of version 1.4.05 in current versions is in the general settings.
