Cnc 3018 End stops not working

Sorry guys (n gals) I’m back with the simplest of questions.
I am trying to install end-stops and set them up with LightBurn.
Below is a picture of the cable, plugs and the switch itself.
I’m assuming it NO (Normally Open & NOT NC normally closed)
I’m using the Red/Black pair on the X&Y Connectors on the controller.

Please note, the circuit board has an LED on it, this illuminates (very short pulse) when the switch is activated by the pressure. (Oh and power to the USB port), Slightly longer if the power is on.
But this is not stopping and kicking back by 2mm (actually 5 because I really wanted to know it was working)

Here is the Console listing for starting up followed by a $$ for the current settings.

OK, middle of the night, osteoarthritis giving me hell. So I’m up and have been doing more reading.
However when I have just switched on and tried a few things…
The horror of Horrors.
Nothing is moving.
Iv;e moved all axis’s back by about 4mm by turning the screws.
Heres are the readings I get back.

I can't get the CNC3018Pro to even move now. I'm getting more convinced the controller is not working. The controller fan when running with just the USB port connected, (Minimum power draw) the fan just whines away, When power is applied to the controller the noise level becomes very annoying. What in blazes is wrong with it. P.S. I have a USER Macro set to'G92 X0 Y0' that does nothing either. I have t tried the reset button on the WoodPecker controller. I have switched off and on again several times in the hour. I have read and re-read loads of web-based solutions, none of which have I had any success with. I've watched loads of video's, followed them to the letter. But this CNC3018Pro is not working for me. Frustration and pain levels are now unbelievably high. I'm copying the body of this to my supplier. With regards to all that have been watching this thread. Princy_LightBurn

OH heck, it’s him again.
Onward from above. At the sellers request to see if I could sort out the noisy fan on the controller I had to remove the plastic case and fan etc. (Replacement fan on its way.)
Then replace to see if it made any difference to the noise level. Yes, it did and the background USB only connection noise level dropped. However, the noise level when connected to the power supply Is still terrible.
BUT
I have been able to get the laser working correctly and accurately.
However, the end-stops are not yet functioning.
I have it in my head that the controller has a dry joint or something…
Sorry for taking your time again.
