Grbl 1.1f [’$’ for help]
inthink it must be something wrong in the defenitions of the machine, i cant figure why.
thankz

Welcome and thanks for the post. You said, you…“want to burn a rectangle with 230 x 130 mm”, what size did you get as the result? What Device Profile have you selected and what are the settings for this profile?

This is worth a read if you haven’t already: Common GRBL/GCode Setups - LightBurn Software Documentation

where i can see that?!..

the burned size is 110x40 mmm -/+… thankz for a rsponse

I assume this is referencing my question about your choice for Device Profile. What did you select when setting up LightBurn for the first time? If you click the ‘Devices’ button in the ‘Laser’ window, you will see what you have selected when setting up devices. You can then edit this to ensure you have things set correctly. The document link I provided above is to our new (in progress) documentation that will walk you through the process.

gbrl if the memory donnt…

No idea what you are saying here. The images I show above are for example only. You will need to match the device settings to your system which you said is running grbl 1.1e, correct?

i´m crazy, grbl is 1.1f

OK, so you should be able to use the GRBL device profile in LightBurn. Is this the one you selected when initially setting up?

yes it is /grbl…

If you haven’t already, this is a good post to review for your setup.

$100 and $101 set the number of steps the machine has to take to move 1mm. If your output is half the expected size, you’d double those values.

You said 110 x 40 instead of 230 x 130, which is quite strange, because those aren’t the same shape at all - The X is about half, but the Y is less than 1/3rd. Did you enable rotary mode accidentally? Does the machine skip when it runs?

i saw the size wrongly… my bad
i made another test and in LB the draw has 100 x 30 and in it burns 50 x 15 … any solution for this to happen?!
thankz

i changed the values of $100 and $101, its perfect now…
thankZ for the help…
