I also have a CNC Plasma that uses the Sheetcam and Mach3 programs - do you know if these are compatible with LightBurn. I really don’t like the Inkscape program that came with system and would like to use LightBurn instead
LightBurn will not directly talk to Mach3, but the GCode emitted might be compatible, depending on what commands are used to activate the plasma cutter, and whether you need strike / touch-off controls.
Our longer term plan includes versions for vinyl and plasma cutters, with a few options added to handle the specifics of those machines, but we’re a ways off from that.
