Colors ? and Background select!

Does anyone know if the LB team is considering allowing the user to

Click on the layer COLOR and choose from a PALLETT of colors to better fit the users need ?

Also what about a top menup Button to Toggle Background Color from Light To Dark, without the need to navigate thru menue’s. ?

You have some special requests. May we ask WHY?

The layer colors, such as light pink, does not show up on a light background

so basically you cant see the svg item selected…

Prefer to use all dark colors on a light background, or light colors on a dark background, but that surely limits the users ability for color selection, as happens now with my items..

ie. I have many designs with 8-13 layers, so mixing light and dark are limited…

a simple Toggle Menu button would easily allow viewing of any color on either background.

As for the Color Pallet selection, that is an item that most design packages have, I was very surprised the LB designers had not thought of putting this feature in for the User to choose what is best for his or her viewing design work comfort.

Here is a response to a similar request.

That would be nice. because my entire Millmage is dark like it’s night use or something.

But on another computer it’s normal. I think I toggled a dark-thing-a-ma-bobber button and don’t know how to un-toggle the dark-thing-a-ma-bobber button lol

There have been some significant improvements in our abilities to create custom themes for LightBurn and MillMage with the recent upgrade to the QT framework we build upon. So, in short, yes, this sort of thing is doable. I’d recommend posting to Fider so we can keep track.

You can find the ‘thing-a-ma-bobber’ here.

THEME-a-ma-bobber’ button Got it!!!

Totally agree that a good many of the colors are hard to see. Also, it just makes sense to let my establish my most common layer colors to suite my preference.
