Trying to use Lightburn with my Omni X. I’ve followed instructions from the manual and both websites on proper setup and still nothing. When I press the start button Lightburn just frames, not burn. Any input will be helpful. Thanks
Pressing the start button will always open the framing window if the setting for it is enabled in your settings:
What settings are you using and is the focus correct? I found the focus to be finicky and had to adjust it a lot to get it right.
That setting is disabled yet it still frames when start is pressed
Settings for X in this tutorial. Compare to yours. Also check your focus, it may be firing but not in range.
There is nothing to calibrate, the laser is not firing. When I press start all it does is frame.
We need to review your support data that holds your device profile to check your settings. Go to Help>Generate Support Data>Paste what it copies to your clipboard in a reply back. You can email it to support@lightburnsoftware.com if you would prefer.
Attach your .lbrn project file too.
Have you tried adjusting the height/focus of the laser yet? It will look like it’s not firing if the focus isn’t correct.

Upgraded to 2.1 and still the same thing. When I hit start it just frames. Ran a material test, same results, no burn just framing.
