ComMarker Omni1 setup, size scaling not correcting

I’m trying to set up our new Omni1 UV, I’ve gone through all the steps, got everything loaded.
I had to manually add the laser as lightburn refused to detect it at all. This is on the same PC as my other fiber laser. I tried different ports, different cables, but no joy.
Once I added it manually and used the files it came with on the USB stick I got it up and working. I did the easy 9 point Lens correction and that seems to have worked correctly. However the output size is off.
If I draw a 30mm Cube it will produce a 32.3mm cube.
I tried to use the submenu under device and scaling, and clicked the 3 dots next to scale and put in my discrepancy. Expected/Actual and it adjusted the setting. However. Nothing changed. 30mm still gives me 32.3mm.
Now. On a whim I just manually set both scales, galvo1 and 2, to 30% and re-ran… thinking that such a large move would be detectable.
Well… Imagine my surprise when it ran my marking settings, which I never changed, and the laser noticeably slowed down, cut the card stock and etched my baseplate. And cut out a perfect 32.3mm square from my card stock.

So… I’m at a loss here as to how to proceed with this. For some reason the scaling adjustment is not correcting the size scaling but power or whatever somewhere down the line.
And the laser is properly focused.

Here are my corrected settings.

Hi Steve, I went thru the same thing you did. I did all that you described and the rectangle I had in LightBurn wasn’t cutting the same dimensions. I decided to read the set up manuel and there it states to use the ruler to set the focus to the focus line on the machine to the baseplate. Mine says 328mm so I set it for that then loosen the two red led set screws and get them to overlap to a point. Retighten the set screws and retest. It should be very close if not perfect when you refocus on the material you want to cut. Mine is about a half a mil off but I could fine tune a little better. Hope this helps!
