Computer and Laser different places

Hi, total novice. I have a desktop computer at home with internet. The laser is somewhere else without internet but with a laptop.
If I install Light Burn on both computers, can I transfer objects from the desktop computer to the laptop with a USB stick to be able to use the laser?
NOTE! I can install LB on both computers with my internet at home.

Yes, you can do that without any problems.
A little tip, use a “bundle” to make 2 identical setups, i.e. you copy all settings from the machine you use primarily with the laser with LightBurn’s bundle function and import the same data back into your “construction machine”. Save the files on both machines and use the same library setup on both computers, it makes life easier.
As a transport medium, you can use anything that both computers can handle.

Ok, thanks. I will see if I can Do that. As I said, I´m total novis.

You’ll probably be able to do it, if not, report back and get help. :+1:

Two additional hints:

  • If you use a laptop you have to ensure to set off power saving during the burn
For that you can use the Microsoft PowerToys, System function Awake
  • If your machine PC is inside your network/wlan (no need for Internet), you may use Syncthing for sharing the files → https://syncthing.net
It syncs folder between the two PCs seamless.

Ok, thanks,
The laptop have full power.
No internet for Laptop and laser.
