Ok, so I now see that by changing from C02 / Galvo to Diode, it only changed the speed unit of measurement, it doesn’t do anything else then I assume.
It’s currently my first and only machine so I’ll experiment this weekend with it more to better understand the speeds and power settings and go from there. Honestly I had some good ( to me ) results using the mm/sec C02/Galvo with air assist and switching to mm/min it ran much slower but then the power was off and I burned quite a few things with it. As you said, trial/error and experimentation and pick one and stick with it. Thanks again!
