Confusion regarding License renewall terms

Hi,

I’m a little confused by the language used on the upgrade page. It states an upgrade will “Add a Year of Updates to your LightBurn License Key”. Does this mean it will only add one year to the date that my previous license expired? For example if my license expired on the 01/01/2024 then renewing today would only allow me to update to a version that was available on the 01/01/2025?

Or would it add a year of updates starting from today, meaning I could upgrade to the latest version?
