Console not opening for editing

Laser does not seems to be picking up the Min power setting. The Console tab, is grey out and will not let me check the coding ($$32/30). Will not let me open to edit if needed. Any ideas?

Hi, have you made sure the laser is connected to Lightburn?
If not connected it will be greyed out.

Yes, right now I have it connected VIA USB. It is still showing disconnected in Lightburn, but using the “move” tab selection and controlling the machine with the arrows/origin buttons WILL move the laser along the gantry, like it is connected(but still showing disconnected).

Your profile says you have a Trocen controller - it does not use GCode commands, and does not support using the console.

So, how would I go about ensuring that Lightburn is picking up the variable powers, if I cannot use the console tab to check $$32/$$30. These have been described to me as the coding for the variable power issue I seem to be having?

You have been misdirected. These codes are for an entirely different motion control system and does not apply to the system you have.

Share a bit more detail about what this means, exactly. Start with what are you wanting to do, how have you tried and what result are you observing, and we can go from there.
