When starting up LightBurn Continuous Jog Mode switch is missing under the tab ‘Move’.
If I go into ‘Device Settings’ and click ‘OK’ without changes it appears under ‘Move’.
How can I make the Continuous Jog Mode option visible from start in the Move tab?

in order to have Continuous Jog you need to enable $J jog on Edit > Device settings.
What is odd is that if that setting got reset for you, what others need review?

Is there a valid reason you wouldn’t want the option to toggle continuous jog off and on?
Not sure I understand what you are asking here.
Sorry, was commenting on the need to even have an option to remove the continuous jog.
Some machines firmware does not support it. Which would cause chaos
