A lot of my customers ask what some of the designs would look like once lasered. On my plasma machine there is contour filled setting that shows the image with fill. This gives them a great way to preview the piece before I cut it. Does LightBurn have this option?
Not sure what your asking.
You have a save image in preview window that shows how it will look when lasered.
As @Dskall mentioned.
If you open the “Preview Window” you will find an option to save the preview image.
I think you can use this image to show how it should look.
Of course the final result, in matter of tonalities / shadows in case of an image, hardly coincide.
The Filled
option, rather than Wire Frame
, for workspace rendering may help:
Thanks for the help! I couldn’t get the fill view to work, even after trying the keyboard shortcut. The only way I was able to see it filled was by right-clicking and choosing “Convert to Bitmap.”
I also tested it with text—converted the fonts to curves—but still couldn’t get the fill to show. Am I missing a step or doing something wrong?
I had to make sure my layer mode is set to Fill in the Cuts/Layers panel. It was no set to fill. I change the layer to fill and the Fill / Smooth worked. Thanks…
