n help me. Something i did has through my machine out of wack. My ruida RDV6445G controller or parameters are forcing my homing bottom left and banging hard.
Which corner does it normally home towards? Back left?
Press the esc button as soon as you turn it on to skip the homing and then jog the machine to the right and find and inspect the homing limit switch at the left to make sure it’s functioning correctly - it sounds like your X-Axis is crashing to the left?
At the control panel, Esc to the main screen, then press the Menu key and navigate to Functions>Diagnose, and if you manually trigger a limit switch you should see the corresponding switch light up red - check for ‘X Limit-’ at the homing end:

The homing is top left, but it powers on and crash bottom left. The controller is a Ruida
RDV6445G. I screwed around and hit factory rest. My working area is 400mm x 600mm. I can send u video on WhatsApp
This could be an issue.
This is Xlimit+, so it’s indicating, is for the X limit. He’s correct in that the Xlimit- is the home sensor.
You can check the leds on the controller.
On mine, I lost the water protect input. It showed up on the controller, but not the diagnosis menu.
I don’t use drprot (door protect) on mine, so I moved the chiller input to drprot. If I lose coolant, it shows up as a door protect error.

Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer of the machine with details of your model explain the situation and ask them politely for a copy of the controller firmware file (specifically the vendor settings) and instructions on how to upload the file to the controller.
Otherwise you would need to go through and setup all the low level machine settings again, axis size, scale, homing position, camera settings, etc, etc, which may be a difficult task without having information from the manufacturer in front of you.
Worth going into the Laser Tools> ‘Machine Settings’ in LightBurn, and try the “Load from Backup” option, if there is nothing available in the list, try also searching your computer for any files ending with the file extension of ‘.lbset.’ You might be in luck if you changed a machine setting in the past as LightBurn may have made a backup for you. It may not contain all the settings you would need for your controller - but would get you a good way there.
