Quick question, i’m swapping machines, my old machine has a KT332N controller panel which has a button in the centre of the directional arrows which swaps the jog movement from continuous to stepped. My new controller panel (6442S) doesn’t have this button, is there any way to replicate this function that i’m missing?
I have a 6442g controller, and the only way I know to change continuous and jog is via the panel using Z/U, don’t remember the option under that.
Yeah, i’ve found that option, juat wondering if theres a shortcut!
Not that I know of… I wish, but I really haven’t noticed I change it much… Don’t know if it’s such a pain I’ve learned to live without swapping it or just don’t need to.
I usually use it to get to the rough area i want on the bed on continuous, then jog it the last bit to get the exact spot. So having it on a shortcut is nice
I’m usually in user origin, so I send it to a specific place from the pc, then press origin on the console. Then load the file from the console and run it. I commonly use the same origin, so it rarely changes unless I’m running something special.
