Copy along path centering

Is there a shortcut to center the object you want to copy on the path start arrow? It is kind of a tedious process for me looking at the start arrow then switching to the object, positioning it, back to looking at where the arrow is, zooming in, positioning it, and so on until it is perfectly centered.

There isn’t yet, but this might help: Create a circle by clicking near the start point and dragging, and once you’re dragging, hit Ctrl to drag out from center. The object snapping behavior will place the center of that circle at exactly the start point.

Once you have that, you can snap other things to it using the align tools. So you could snap your other object to that circle, then delete the circle.

Depending on how you want the objects aligned with the start point, you may have to monkey with it a little.

Thanks. I’ll see if that helps
