Im not seeing a copy layer function and Im kind of baffled why this is not a feature. I would like to copy the cuts and layers of my original then tweak the settings for multiple versions for testing. OR is there some odd way to do it. I do see you can cut, copy paste objects BUT do not see a way to copy setting, seems so obvious.
Although it’s worded oddly, you can copy the active layer settings to a “cache” and apply the cached settings to another layer:
So you must already have some objects in the “to” layer, which will get the “from” settings.
I use the Material Library for layer settings, where there’s an obvious Duplicate button to produce a named group of settings for later use. Otherwise, I have no idea what I was thinking when I settled on those numbers …
