I have Corel 2023, going to upgrade to 2025. If I export from Corel to SVG files, can I open that directely into LightBurn or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks.

Yes, it should work like that. In LB, you need to import instead of opening them.
Thank you. I’e been using Corel for years, I’m just familiar with it.
Oh, follow up question. do the layers in Corel carry over to lightburn in this situation?
Only if you use the predefined color palette of LB. LB uses the colors to assign them to the layers.
I’ve also been using Corel for years and am a huge fan of it. I’m currently using the buy it outright, non-subscription version of Corel 2024 and use the macro setup described in the LightBurn documentation to send directly to LightBurn. I have it set up so “Shift * Ctrl + L” sends it directly to Lightburn.
I’ve also set up a palette in Corel so I can use the colours in my Corel designs and have them transfer directly into LightBurn. If anyone wants the palette I use, let me know and I can add it here.
