Hi all,
I have a Longer B1 diode laser and upgraded it with the extensionkit so it is now 800 x 400 cm.
I want to change the layout of my workspace, because now it is going upwards, 400 wide & 800 high. I want it from left to right, so 400 high and 800 wide. I changed the settings in “machine settings” in LB, but now I need to change the settings in “Console”. The $ code for 130 and 131. How can I make the console visible with the $ codes? Now it is an empty space.
There are two ways:
1 - Through the “Console” window, type $131=400 (or 800 as appropriate) and press enter. (You should then see the message “ok” if you did this successfully).
2 - Through the “Machine settings” window, you can edit the desired value directly in the $131 field then “write” and “ok”
This is valid for other identical parameters.
Be aware: if you changed it in machine settings, you actually changed the $ codes. Or did you change the device settings?
And furthermore, you don’t need to mess with those settings at all, LB has an integrated function for this now:
You are correct, it was “device settings” were i did the change in “dimentions / units”. I am going to try the tip you gave me here. Thanks.
Actually, that’s the only way that works without changing the motors and axis. You can’t just change width and height, that doesn’t work out.
