Has anyone else had the problem of lightburn hanging up or crashing after every action of the program? specifically in my case, a Ruida 6640 cloud-y on a gweike cloud II 55w Co2.
I frame, no problem. I burn, no problem. as soon as an action is complete, it seems the machine disconnects.
That sounds like an electrical fault to me - sometimes, particularly on MacOS, USB connections will drop out if it detects too much noise on the USB bus.
That sounds feasible. Let ne try switching usb cables and see what happens. The only problen is the gweike cloud uses USB A female connection on both ends. Thank you.
I had similar problems setting up the gweike, a new usb cable got it sorted, same deal with the camera usb cable I had to restart lightburn each time to get it to work
Thanks for that. That was the last post I read through before I post my question. It was very informative. There was still just a few gaps between the post and my unique question.
I have had issues with the Gweike dropping out on my macbook after most jobs. Haven’t found a solution except unplugging and replugging it into my macbook. I’ve tried quality cables, cables with the loopy thing, powered cables, nothing seems to fix it, but if you find a solution, please let me know!
Hi, i’m not sure where i got the cables, here are some pic’s of my set up , I have 3 types of lasers hooked up to a usb hub, its only powered form the laptop port, ivé had no issues at all.
Hi Tim, I think there is a misunderstanding , I thought I was being asked what cables I was using by Billie Ruben, I am not having any issues with my setup, but I did have before I went to this setup with other cables , it’s been running fine for the last couple of yrs. Cheers
