Create a gingham pattern

I am trying to create a gingham pattern using fill. I have altered the powering settings in shape properties and altered the fill order in Cut Settings editor without getting the desired result.

Has anyone successfully managed this.

FYI, I noticed ‘Default’ is set just under the ‘Power’ settings in the ‘Cut Settings Editor’ window, which forces this layer to produce using the power setting from your controller.

Thanks Rick, that explains why I couldn’t adjust the power! Every day is a school day!
