Creating graphic from image

New user, probably simple question solution.

I want to import a graphic shape, For example a star. I find a image of a star on the internet…simple star.

I download the graphic. When I import it into Lightburn, I get the whole image. i.e. a square with a star shape in the middle…I want just the star. is there a way to get that “shape” out of the graphic? Is there maybe a tutorial on it that someone can point me to?

Highlight it. right click select trace image then ok
