Beginner question - I am working on a multi-level ornament and don’t want to cut the place where the buffalo’s feet attach to the ground. This is probably simple, but I can’t figure out how to put that area in a new level. It is circled in light purple in the attached.

I did a little Node Editing to resolve the issue with this file. I did not remove the circled in light purple marks.
