Creation of template for repetitive engraving

Hi,
I’m just switching from a scorer to laser engraver which is used to cut data plates on anodised aluminium.
Is their an easy way to create a template in Lightburn that has multiple text boxes so that the operator can simply re-type the new data. I only need to engrave the text not the box.

You could make a template in MDF with x number of your boxes, center the template to 0: 0 on X, Y and use the variable text function, it works super smart and easy for me. There is a part in the documentation and on the web (YT) which deals with the function.

Have you explored the variable text option of LightBurn? One of the features is that it will read a CSV file containing the text/data and place it in the work using the variable text placeholder.
