OK. Now I know what to do. You have click on the shape, and hold the “shift” key and click on the path. Then go to Arrange and click on “copy on path”. It would have been really nice if the instructions told you about holding the shift key.

Whenever there’s an operation meant to incorporate multiple shapes the requirement is that the selection includes all shapes. This is why the shift key is required. And the order of selection is important when adding to the selection.
This will be relevant for many other functions in LightBurn including boolean tools, circular array, etc. so good to get that learning out of the way.
I thought about explaining how to select several shapes this way, but I discarded it thinking it is base knowledge. See the relevant part of the documentation.
