I have recently bought a ortur lasercutter 2 machine and i ste it up in lightburn.
The working area is 400mm on 430mm
I have now delivered wood that have this dimensions: 420 x 297 mm
how can i setup those wood dimensions so that i can cut everything inside the wood and not outside of it?

I generally make a rectangle the size and location of the stock. I put this on a visible but non-cutting layer. Sometimes I make the lower left corner of the rectangle a user origin, but mostly I don’t bother with this.
This is obviously only a guide and doesn’t prevent burning outside the rectangle. You can go one step further by using the rectangle as a mask, but that seems unnecessary to the way I do things.
