can someone send me the video link of this post from back in 2019 I am trying to step and repeat a logo in Lightburn on my Mac
Is this a trick question? You joined in 2022. What post in 2019?
No it’s not a trick question. Someone posted in 2019 and now the video is no longer there. It called cut order step and repeat. Anyway thanks for responding. Yes I did join in 2022 and I am new to this software.
this is the Original post …Cut order step and repeat
I cannot find a video either. It may have been deleted because it was outdated and no longer applied. That link relates to managing the sequence of operations. What is in the video that is not in the text?
Maybe if you tell us what you are wanting to know, we can come up with something that works for you.
I am trying to step and repeat a logo several times I did stumble upon paste in place tool that works with X and Y axis that works ok. And someone responded on You Tube with a Grid array tool in the Arrange drop down. Thanks for the help.
You shouldn’t need a video - That post describes the solution. In the optimization settings page, put “Order by Group” first in the list, followed by “Order by Layer”. Then just make each item you want engraved in a single piece its own group. That’s it.
I wonder why I can’t see optimization settings in my laser window.?
Are you in Beginner Mode? If so, that’s why. You’d have to turn it off from the main settings (upper left in the main settings page).
That worked thank you.
