Select everything in your design and choose “Close Selected Paths with Tolerance”. Then use the Cut Shapes tool. All the shapes in your design are open to start with, but because of how our rendering works, it’s slipping through. The ‘Cut Shapes’ tool is not checking in the same way, which is why that’s not working as expected for you.
