Cut Shapes is disabled - cannot select. How can I switch it on

I use a piece of particle board.

Great!
Thanks again for all your help.

I have purchased a honeycomb bed with an aluminum base.
What I need next is a workshop space, but that will have to come later

… Psst, you can also steal the frying pan from your back oven! I think the whole laser can stand in it … better than on the parquet floor :+1:

Unless this finished floor is in an outdoor space, you will very soon find your home filled with smoke and odor. For inside work, an enclosure and effective exhaust system to move the smoke outside or filter it should be considered mandatory. Companies don’t include these mandatory items (non-flammable bases, enclosures, and exhaust) because they add cost. Why they don’t mention them in the literature is beyond my understanding.

June can just use the hood from the kitchen when she now uses the roasting pan from the oven.

I actually have a friend who started this way, outside it is too cold and he couldn’t wait until the extracting device comes.

Proper kitchen ventilation may be more common in UK/EU. Idiot Americans decided many years ago that it was sufficient to recirculate the greasy, smoky air from a cooktop thru a loose metal mesh and dump it right back into the kitchen. As if that would do something positive. Lol. I have been in VERY few American homes with kitchen ventilation that actually moved the air out of the house. Even fewer that moved enough air volume to be useful.

I am not one of those idiots. My kitchen hood has a 1200 CFM blower over the cooktop pushing air thru the roof.

It is the most used practice here.

It is probably the challenge with extraction in very tall buildings, which makes it complicated to replace the air and therefore they use regeneration/filtration.

I live in a rural area with exceedingly few multi-family homes. Apartment buildings, yes, but those always have at least one exterior wall. Regardless, I happily accept limitations due to that type of architecture. This is just penny-pinching idiocy that’s been accepted by ignorant home buyers. /soapbox.

Mine works pretty good. GE SpaceSaver microwave and vented thru the roof.
