Cut time on grayscale won't decrease with increase in speed from 25in/m to 200in/m

$0=10 $1=255 $2=0 $3=4 $4=0 $5=0 $6=0 $10=1 $11=0.010 $12=0.002 $13=1 $20=0 $21=0 $22=0 $23=0 $24=25.000 $25=500.000 $26=250 $27=1.000 $30=1000 $31=0 $32=1 $100=80.000 $101=80.000 $102=80.000 $110=7620.000 $111=7620.000 $112=1000.000 $120=40.000 $121=40.000 $122=40.000 $130=305.000 $131=343.000 $132=200.000 I am using the above settings for my GRBL but I noticed when I preview the grayscale image that the cut time is 14:39 at 25in/m and if I increase the speed above 25in/m the cut time remains 14:39. Is there something that is limiting the cut speed. I think the GRBL settings should allow up to 300in/m. I must be missing something.

Your acceleration values are very low. Depending on the size of the item you’re engraving, you might not be hitting your maximum speed.

It’s also possible that you’ve changed some settings but not updated the preview / simulation settings. Click Edit > Device Settings, then click the ‘Additional Settings’ tab and click the ‘Read from Controller’ button to update them.

The acceleration was indeed the problem. Thanks for your quick response. One other problem I have is that the speed on the first move (moving to the start of the burn) is very very fast. When returning to the origin the speed is much slower and seems to be controlled by the speed setting in the move window. I haven’t been able to find a setting for the initial move that appears to be separate from the other speed settings.

Just found that the max rate settings ($110,$111, $112) establish that first move speed.
