Cutout shape inside another design

I’m trying to cut the mag shape out of the camo square with the camo design intact. I want the mag shape, camo and all. I also need the window in the mag empty, (doesn’t show the camo design).

I’ve watched a bunch of videos about cut shapes, but none seem to apply to my design.

I think you need to have a single line, not two close together and grouped.

Ok, I got it but not sure how. Tried like the video but didn’t work. I don’t know how I did it and that ticks me off because I’ll need to do it again.
