Hi all,
I have just bought my first laser, Blazex M3 pro I have managed to set it up and engrave a few test pieces but I can not get it to cut. I have tried so many suggestions from online videos including different power/speed options. I have only had a black line (it is a vector file) no scoring like it is even trying to cut and no blue laser, just the orange that comes when engraving. I am tearing my hair out as too much of a novice to even know where else to start. I want to cut acrylic sheets into sewing patterns eventually, fingers crossed. At the moment I am just trying 3mm ply. Thanks for any input x
Check your focus depth. Even a modest 5w diode will engrave a piece of plywood with the right focus and combination of power, speed and number of passes.
Show us a a screen cap of your cuts/layers window. Press shift+win+s (or shift+cmd+s) to screen capture to your clipboard, then here on the forum press CTRL+v to paste the screen capture.
Also, please upload a photo of your results with those settings.
Be advised, a blue light laser will not cut acrylics. I am not familiar with your laser, specifically.

Specifically, anything clear or in the blue and green color ranges.
Did you get the 5w or 10w model?
