Hello. I would like to know if it’s possible to engrave metal with a Sculpfun S30 laser, and if so, what settings should be used. Thank you.
@mathon A diode laser like the S30 can’t cut or deeply engrave bare metal — the beam just reflects off (sometimes dangerously!). However, you can mark the surface of anodized aluminium, painted, or coated metals, or use a metal marking spray such as Cermark or LaserBond.

You can, but only stainless steel. No other metals. Use high power and low speeds and coat the material to reduce reflections.
