I have certain settings set to default that i use like everyone else, but now if i tweak them but don’t save them and close it the default has been reset to the adjusted settings and not going back to default. They use to go back to the default settings prior to a couple updates.
It’s not entirely clear what’s going on, but perusing the layer setting doc may sort out how default values get set / reset / modified:
The doc has not yet caught up with the UI changes in 1.7, but those should give you the general idea.
