I don’t care for the default LB windows layout and would like to custom setup my windows and have the “reset to default layout” always go back to my custom setup. Is this possible in LB?
No. I don’t believe this is possible.
Possible suggestion for dev team to implement a “save as default template” option. I love that in my Ableton DAW I can fully set up my workspace and save that as my default. Every time I open the software its just ready to go. Its pretty handy… massive time saver for me.
I don’t dislike the idea but doesn’t LightBurn default to how you last left it? Which would get you most of the way there.
as far as toolbar layout, yes. If you have a production setup with offsets and templates etc… then no. LB will save your program layout but not a default work setup so to speak. You would only have to open a save file to achieve the same result. Still food for thought. 
Build your custom setup.
Click File, click Export Prefs and save that file somewhere convenient.
Then (outside LightBurn) copy that file to a removable drive so you have it on a shelf when you change computers. Email yourself that file for good measure.
When you want to revert to your custom setup, click File, click Import Prefs and select your conveniently placed file.
It should land as you’d want and expect it to.
