Why all of a sudden am I getting a delay before the job staarts and between layers?
Only a couple of things i can think of. First check the baud rate for your com port. For GRBL controllers, the default is typically 115,200 baud. Second i see your speed is in mm/sec. Normally for diode lasers its mm/min. If you don’t have a diode laser then im not sure if these would apply.
