When I click on any button in lightburn, there’s about a one second delay until the action takes place. This just started today, day 20 or so in my free trial. I turned off my laptop and after I turned it back on, the same thing happens. This only happens in Lightburn.
Windows 11 seems notorious for going off and doing things without asking for permission; sometimes it doesn’t even ask your forgiveness. It may be busy indexing all your files or checking for malware or phoning home or whatever, leaving precious little bandwidth for what you were doing.
How to fix that remains an ongoing question, but sorting the Task Manager’s display of running processes by CPU time or I/O usage may reveal the miscreant.
