Detecting Chlorine In Materials To Be Cut

Yes, I’m very aware there are drag knife cutters. But I don’t have one. Also, in my case I want to create a design mask directly on a piece of glass/mirror glass, then weed it for subsequent sandblasting.

This would be a lot easier to do with the vinyl applied directly to the glass first, than the vinyl design cut separately, then having to apply transfer tape and then line it up accurately on the glass.

That’s my reasoning.

Something else to consider ( and yes I have personal experience to back this up) Laser cutting vinyl is not very accurate as it tends to melt it far wider than the thickness of a blade. I have used both real vinyl and laser vinyl (that’s not vinyl but you know what I mean) and its never gives a nice edge like my cheap second hand vinyl cutter (Silhouette 2)

Wow! Thank you so much for showing that. The photo looks worse than what I even imagined when I first first read about the damage. Wow!
