Not a software problem but still a bit odd!
I have the Atomstack S10 Pro with AirAssist.
When I physically push the laser up the Y axis there is a definite detent every 70mm. It feels like there is a dent in the track that a wheel drops into and it takes slightly more effort to move over it. Tacks are clear, belts look fine and I can’t think of anything other than maybe the stepping motor that would give rise to such a repetitive problem. Any ideas?
Judging from what I read around here, the wheel has developed a flat spot from the eccentric nut being overtightened, perhaps during assembly. Might be just one wheel or all of them.
If the circumference is about 70 mm, there’s the problem!
Thanks Ed - spot on! I slacked of the nut on the one side and that has eased the problem. I will leave it to relax and see what happens.
Many thanks & Merry Christmas
