Dimension in lightburn

Salutations. When I create a figure with lightburn for example a 10 mm x 10 mm square he engraves it for me in inches. How can I solve? thank you

… you just press the ā€œmmā€ button and you will get inches

I don’t want measures in inches but in mm, and if I put in mm it should affect in mm but instead it does it in inches. it seems to me that it is not a normal way of working.

Can you take screenshots demonstrating this please? Preferably with full size screenshots covering the whole application.

The machine is set to inches…

$13 = Sets position feedback units from mm to inches. $13=1 for inches or $13=0 for mm

Software and machine talk in ā€˜units’. They need to be the same ā€˜type’ at both ends.

ā€˜Edit → Machine Settings’ and change ā€˜Report Inches’ to false. Write it back to the controller…

While you are there, save a copy of the configuration…
