Directory always defaults to Lightburn program directory on CSV variable text import

Hi,

I am running 0.9.14 and am pretty sure that in the previous versions when you browsed to import a new variable csv file the last directory selected (in that session) would be opened.

In 0.9.14, the directory always defaults to the Lightburn program directory.

Would be grateful if you could have a look at that.

Thanks
Steve

Which version of LightBurn do you run? (Mac, Win32, Win64 . … ?)

Hi,

LB 0.9.14 on Windows 10.

Steve

I looked, and it appears to be doing what it’s supposed to, both in the code, and when I run it here. There have been a few issues with the new file dialogs - does your path or filename have any odd characters in it, like spaces, or accented characters?

Hmm, tried it again to record and it seems fine now.

If it happens again, I will record it.

Thanks
Steve

Hi,

I had the issue come back up today and have a video here.

Most of the time it works ok, but then it re-occurs.

Steve

It’s possible this is because you’re using mapped network drives, but honestly that shouldn’t change how the path is remembered. Do this: Go to Help > Generate Support Data, then open a Notepad, paste it, save that to a text file, email that file to support at lightburnsoftware dot com with a link to this thread included. I can check to make sure that path is saving in the correct format.
