Docking Object Issues

I have used the object docking quite a lot and love the feature, unfortunately this operation has stopped working for me.

I am making some fridge magnets and have tried docking then to reduce cutting time, when I go to dock lightburn just hangs and if I hit my mouse button I get the message Lightburn nor responding. I thought it maybe the text and graphics in my fridge magnet that maybe causing the issue so tonight I thought I would set up a template to overcome the issue, but when I try to dock two simple boxes I get the same response, “lightburn not responding”

What am I doing wrong?

Did you do your last test in a new file or the one you are working with? I experienced that the more objects you have in your project, the slower the docking feature is. Even if the other objects are far away, they seem to affect the performance (I guess all of them are used to calculate distances etc.).
