Does anybody know if Lightburn is compatible with a Rayjet laser?

Hello, just doing some research on laser machines. Does anybody know if Lightburn is compatible with a Rayjet laser?
Thanks in advance.

Rayjet is a Trotec product so:

For a rayjet trotec use an other driver with less options then a ‘real’ trotec laser. I don’t know if the underlying control of the laser are the same.

Thank you for the replies, I’m hoping to find a compatible vector program that costs less than corel for now.

Well, Inkscape costs less. That’s what I use.

Thanks Hank, Inkscape would be ideal, are you using it with a rayjet/trotec?

No. I use it with a generic Red & Black. But if you’re using it with LightBurn it shouldn’t matter what machine you have. Just import the SVG file from Inkscape into LB and you’re good.

If I’m not mistaken, RayJet / Trotec just use a printer driver to send jobs to the laser, do they not? If that’s the case, the choice of design software should be mostly irrelevant.

They do, but I currently don’t actually need to design much. So I’ve been creating in lightburn and then going straight to laser
