I’ve seen similar on my new grbl controller a couple times. I’m still building it with wires everywhere crossing over each other. Not sure what the actual cause is if it’s dirty data being sent over usb or corrupt firmware or what but I’ve resolved it sometimes with a simple power down or firmware reset each instance. On mine the controller is a UNO clone with a V3 shield and it’s happened enough that I’ve created a macro in Lightburn to re-apply my settings should I have to do the reset again.

This is typical of an incorrect baud rate on the communication line…


Check that it’s proper… I think most use 115200…
